BabyBluebird is an independent baby shop in Leigh-on-Sea, with a wide range of practical, functional yet lovely baby goods. BabyBluebird is part of a community of thriving independent shops, and is situated in Rectory Grove, very near the Post Office, the Police Station and the Library.
This part of Leigh town centre (Rectory Grove, Broadway West, Elm Road and into the Broadway) has at least 15 baby and child centred outlets, including shops with pram, travel and home accessories and safety equipment, children's clothes, traditional and 'pocket money' toys and baby & child toiletries, there are cafes with baby changing facilities, and salons offering pampering for expectant Mums, including a special pregnancy massage and children's haircuts.
At the Library, overlooking the estuary, some of the old Rectory gardens remain as Leigh Library Gardens, a popular local park, with a great play area for young children.
BabyBluebird is two minutes walk from the Library. We stock products that are top of the range in terms of safety and reliability. We have a whole section dedicated to safety, including, for instance, products that help to position seat belts for maximum comfort and safety for both Mums-to-be and their baby. Our product range is wide, with emphasis on innovation, quality and choice at a fair price. We listen to our customers, and value their input to our product range enormously. Our product testers are all parents frustrated by mainstream products and limited information.
We have a website under construction (www.babybluebird.co.uk), to be launched soon, but in the meanwhile here's an interim site, with a taster of what's on offer at BabyBluebird with links to some of the other businesses that make this area a true baby village: www.leighbabyvillage.co.uk.
Local delivery is free, we also do mail order, and are always looking for new product ideas, so please don't hesitate to contact us.
